Recipe: Matcha Truffles

I just heard of Midori Matcha and their cold brewed matcha tea and premium matcha powder. This recipe by the same company sounds so good.

1 pound good bittersweet chocolate
1 cup heavy cream
2 tbsp Midori Matcha powder
2 tbsp. brown coconut sugar
1 tbsp. Grand Marnier
½ tsp. vanilla extract
Cocoa powder

Chop the chocolate finely and place it in large mixing bowl.
Heat the cream in a small saucepan until it boils. Pour the cream into the bowl with chocolate.
Add coconut brown sugar, Midori Matcha powder, vanilla and Grand Marnier and stir together with a wire whisk until the chocolate is completely melted.
Put in refrigerator for one hour.
With 2 teaspoons scoop out a few round balls of the chocolate mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Put in refrigerator for 30 minutes.
Roll each ball in your hands to make a perfectly round ball. Roll with Midori Matcha powder or cacao powder. Keep refrigerated.
Chill, serve and enjoy!
