Philly: Chinese Lantern Festival
Last week, while driving down Vine Street, I spotted an unusual sight. It was a massive and colorful dragon sitting on Franklin Square. It turned out to be the centerpiece of the Chinese Lantern Festival, the first-ever of its kind in the Northeast, which debuts tonight. The dragon, along with illuminated flowers, panda bears, and lanterns will delight people of all ages until June 12. All photos below are from http://historicphiladelphia.org/chineselanternfestival/
