I could not wait to visit Spruce Street Harbor when I first saw its beautiful canopy of lighs while driving on Delaware Avenue one night. Captivated at first sight, this waterfront paradise on Penn’s Landing has to be one of the most exciting things to happen to the city of Philadelphia. Open from May 22 to September 27 this year, there are so many things to see and do on the park including barges with seating and nets suspended over the water, floating gardens, hammocks galore, flea market, light and music shows. There are concession stands selling ice cream sundaes, craft beers, and other delicious options by Port FedNuts, Garces Group’s Chifa, Distrito Taco Truck, and Yard’s Brewing Company.
But don’t just take my word for it. View this amazingly beautiful video created by Cory J. Popp and see Spruce Street Harbor for yourself!
